Following a real bad experience 5 hears ago at another Indian defense site that shall go unnamed (read 'a ban', that vanished recently rather miraculously), I figured my energies were better spent elsewhere researching topics that interest me. Along the way I visited DFI intermittently in a stealth mode for the last 3-4 years, and have seen how it has grown into a vibrant community that is not subject to arbitrarily passed diktats on content and comment. It is no surprise that it has attracted some star contributors from other forums (bennedose, Ray to name a few).
