Goes to show that GoI still adheres to fiscal and prudent financial planning when it comes to infrastructure. GoI does not want to engage in needless and irresponsible non-financial projects that would only drain the coffers of India and do nothing long term.

Learning process.

SHows that India had the capability of cleaning up all along. It is about the mindset and the willingness to do change and adapting to find solutions.

This is the type of renovation that needs to be implemented nationwide on everywhere at the local, district, state, national level. It promotes cleaniness and order and will tamp down on contagious diseases etc.

There are no standards. Just walk anywhere and you see wires collected in gobs of balls and sagging under the weight etc.

Hopefully this will be the start of India as a sports superpower. Universities and colleges need to step up and start developing their own sports complexes. That is how they do it in the western world.
