Indeed Mica is a great missile especailly its ir variant which gives very little warning to target. it has good pk capability and was recently integrated with su30mki,. I would personally love to see mica on tejas .

As you know elta radar has 3 different variants - some 300, 500 and 1000+. we have on jaguar the 300 trm variant and with lcamk1a we might get 500 trm . so in my opinion its range will be at best against non stealth plane will not be more 150km . and i mean tracking range not detection range...

You are forgetting some important facts like RCS doesn't matter much when you have loaded aircraft with missiles and drop tanks besides both radars have more range than there missiles itself. Dogfight with weapons is different game for both Tejas and mirage 2000. I will rate mirage 2000 higher...
