Brahmos is a modified (read: downgraded) SS-N-26 Yakhont, everyone in the world knows it even kids in the streets of Mogadishu know about it, that's why the only buyer for this' be all end all' missile is India only. Russia is of course happy with the original, longer leg, faster, better seeker, nuclear capable, superior in every way you name it, export customers like Vietnam, Indonesia or Syria seem to be aware of thsi as well. But too bad indians just don't have the ability to figure out that they've just been taken for a ride by the russians, 'oppa Gorshkov style'.

Frankly speaking, on the Brahmos deal, you just fell into the circle again.
One hint：what seekers on your Brahmos? did you get the TOT of monkey version ramjet? How about block II land-attackers? 44% miss-out rate due to "overheated radiator", you seemed to have a lot overheating stuff.

Your block I brahmos are total failure, then you paid russian a lot to switch to KA-band seeker but it turns out very
disappointing as well.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as "indian scientist", at least not within the domain of DRDO, or else how do you explain that a billion plus nation after 30 years of intensive efforts still can't copy a 50 year old belgian rifle.
