It has more to do with white symbolizing day(bright) and black symbolizing night (dark)..Not with any racial theories.

Ancient literature may not have been subtly racist but I doubt the same can be said for "modern" music and culture.

yeah such symbolisms do exist. But just saying that particular line is not racist considering that even old poets have used those words in exactly the same meaning without any racial connotations.

Yup HT said its got 12 million views in 3 days and was the "most" watched Indian video ever, I was curious, I logged in and its got like 1.2 million views.
Awesome song though, like the Sharad Pawar Tajinder singh version more.
