i think lion will win, usually lion live in a group and developed much more hunting skill than a solitary tiger , but tiger have the advantage of weight (approximately 10-15 kg) but lion are more intelligent (large brain compared to tiger ) to live in a social group . this intelligent come handy in a fight so lion is the king of the beast

How can lion have better hunting skill? He lives that part to the lionesses himself resting under a tree most of the time. Lion is intelligent? You need to read some hunting stories to get the opinion of the experienced hunters. Skull of both the animals are almost same and vary in size as per the size of the specimen.

this programme is made by some lunatics may be they are good engineers, software expert or so called animal expert.

A battle between two large cat can not be finished in Three bites. when they fight within their own species they use their Paws extensively where agility of the beast should be the determinant factor. They totally overlooked tiger's ability to bring down very large prey (gaur, buffalo even rhino in Kaziranga) singlehandedly. These guys have many more craps like this one..... Gorilla vs leopard, bear vs tiger, elephant vs rhino.... most of them far from reality....

Siberian Tigers are the biggest cats in the world. Strongest carnivore I believe is the polar bear.

yes it is not complete and war between two carnivore (big cat) cannot end with in three bit. i have seen complete program (animal face off) where complete analysis will be done from tooth,stamina, strength , body mass, habited, pray animal ext. according to me which animal adopt the condition well is the winner,(survivor is the winner) when two different species fights occur very rare in nature , we can only predict.

Liger is lost species and often re-born. Their weight will make them impossible for hunter. thats why they have survived that long in the life cycle and often comes in guest appearance. these are simply Zoo species.

Offcourse tiger,with its athletic maneuvering,superbly constructed body and the new generation war skill which it is using for decades-stealth,tiger is no challenge for lions,lions r moreover lethargic and does not have the maneuvering like a tiger

Though i highly doubt the incidents described in the first article about its devouring of Rhinos and killing of a tusker as this animals r to giant and to powerful for a tiger to beat down and that to single handedly,specifically the tuskers which roam singly,that is known to b hyper aggressive and hyper powerful

Anyway tiger r definitely fearsome machines,the superb technology of nature

Tiger is Stronger, Agile, Swift, Bigger...but Lion is more ferrosious, packs more puch and also has Mane as a defence.......
Their is differnce in their attitude also.......Tiger dont get into fight very often because they live alone and they need to be fit to survive...whereas Lions love to fight...and their overall appearance is also more of a fighter cat.....

On its day any cat can win ..Lion or Tiger....

But in a fight Lion will always remain an aggressor while Tiger will only fight if there is no more option left.

Tiger vs elephant fight i rare things. Both of the animal needs to be very bad tampered to start a fight. The incident I mentioned did come in newss paper. The elephant was a rogue and became infamous by injuring couple of forest guards and tourists. It must had been crossed the path of a similarly bad tampered tiger. Such incidents have been mentioned by specialists like Kenneth Anderson and Jim Corbett though the tiger is not the winner in every case.
