Apparently, some dudes went inside the ICU of sunrise hospital in gurgaon and shot 2 critically ill patients in the head.

6-8 attackers according to initial reports, few injured.

Gurgaon: In a shocking incident in Gurgaon, two people were injured when a group of men fired at them inside the Sunrise Hospital. The two victims, father and son, were seriously injured in the firing.
As many as eight to 10 people barged into the hospital and shot at the father and the son in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. The same group had clashed outside a local court earlier on Tuesday.
It was during the scuffle outside the court that the father and the son had got injured and admitted to the hospital. According to the police, prime facie it appeared to be a case of personal enmity.

It just seems that this is a period all nations seem to go through when devloping- increasing wealth causes increasing avalibility of weapons and increasing issues associated with that wealth. The US went through a similar patch in the 20th centuary. Hopefully the Indian police reforms are speeded up so there is an effective service to keep the peace.


It is also possible that in the age of 24/7 news cycle that such incidents are hyped up and reported when in the past they happened but went unreported.


Either way such a thing happening at a hospital is a huge no-no and I hope the wrong doers are brought to book.

I personally feel that the police are lackadaisical and the Justice system lumberous and that is the reason.

China has greater wealth generation than India, but lawlessness is not so rampant as in India.
