We passed along the Syrian-Turkish border.

The situation is as follows: The
spirits of various gangs in the border area are present. The number is not particularly large. The most numerous number about 200 heads. The attacks and attacks on the Syrian frontier troops and the military are not very frequent. Basically, shell, mainly from 80-mm. minometov.Prichem answer them to the Syrian military is problematic enough. When shelling positions of Syrians, the spirits are located next to the Turkish border points, which can easily fly an otrike. Therefore, the Syrians today still have to restrain the desire to respond, and burrow deeper.
On the territory of Turkey, the fighters pass freely, as well as return back. Turks do not prevent their movement. As the Syrian border guards say, the Turks do not interfere, but often they themselves help the spirits in everything.
Several Turkish border points were noted, which they for some reason decided to equip in the territory of Syria. Although one should be surprised when listening to Erdogan screaming about a hike through the territory of Syria to the border of Iraq.
In general, everything here is relatively calm, well, very beautiful.

If this news is true its even more funny that IDAF had set up the RuAF straight into the Syrian AD fire line and escaped ...

Syrians should have never engaged in that incident.

They actually made fool out of themselves. Commander who gave the fire order should be questioned for his actions.

IL 20 should have been ordered to fly towards North, this is the first thing that came to my mind by looking at the chart. Israeli F-16s wouldn't be able to to hide behind IL-20 anymore(fuel constraints, they had to travel long distance and carried ordinance as well) and if they have to go(to Israel), then there would be no cover at least.

Bunch of buffoons and incompetent idiots.

Someone had brought up the argument of IFF, that is the stupid argument to bring up. Missile has locked on to one of the F-16 (highly manoeuvrable and light after loosing bombs and maybe 50-60% of fuel) flying very close to IL-20 (sitting duck). F-16 pilot also knows that he has been locked on and knows the flight path too, it is simple thing to manoeuvre your own aircraft to change path of the missile in such a way that might hit IL-20. Fighter pilots train a lot to avoid missiles. One of the pilot has performed such manoeuvre and IL 20 is lost to stupid decision taken by an idiot at command.

That F-16 pilot deserves a medal and he is having a toast and throwing up a party for all the fun he had...

Israel is sending its delegation headed by Major-General Amikam Norkin (commander of the Israeli Air Force since August 10, 2017) to Moscow to provide his report on the downed IL-20.

Here, English-speaking citizens counted the losses of the Russian Air Force during the operation in Syria.

No offense, but that delegation Worth's nothing. This is not even going to be a formal sorry, but a cordial discussion.

At best, Russia will ask IsAF to stop bombing Syria. IsAF will not make any promises. Russia would assure that RsAF would also take part in future actions. More Su-30SMs might join the Russian forces. Thus forcing IsAF to plan fewer engagements, more missile strike.

At worst, Nothing happens, it will be B.A.U. as in the past.

Like I said, this is a cordial discussion.

If Israeli air intredictons don't happen, or little assistance from Iran or Hezbollah informally quits out of Idlib offense for next 3 months. Then I'd believe that something serious discussion happened.

Make no mistake my friend, Idlib is going to the bloodliest(major civilian casualities, fake gas attacks, at least one cruise missiles attack) assault on ISIS.

#facts about the Israeli delegation in #Moscow: #Israel’s AF chief decried the Syrians as almost incompetent When Russians began asking #Nurkin specific questions, he was completely unprepared to answer them Israeli members described the meeting as "tense and very threatening"
