The thing that has got my attention is why only and upto 290KM .

Missile Technology Control Regime - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) is an informal and voluntary partnership between 34 countries to prevent the proliferation of missile and unmanned aerial vehicle technology capable of carrying a 500 kg payload at least 300 km.
Are the Pakis reveling something that needs to be questioned who insisted on making such a landmark. Is it the Pakis is it the country of origin because of MTCR. Is the country of origin maturing its relationship with the Pakis.

They are Chinese missile, they are covertly brought to mate a nuke warhead.

The striking similarity of some Chinese and Pakistani solid fuel missiles

Actually they are testing their paint on the missile :truestory:

Perhaps my point got missed. The country that has given these missiles to Pakistan appears to has insisted that range be mentioned and stated to be 290 km. the pakis do not grasp international law and its unlikely they would insist on such things. One has to believe that most if not all missiles to Pakistan were from outsiders. One mentions PRC above.

The question is why the need to observe mtcr now and not before by PRC to Pakistan. Is the country of origin where the missile are from maturing its relationship with Pakistan ... Saying they will deal in the realm of international relations and not like before where mtcr was not applicable.

Did someone miss the obvious ... Pakistan missiles are mtcr complaint and acknowledgement they are imported from overseas. It's official, but where are they from. Why would that country want that to be in public realm now. Do both countries want to send the message to india that these are targeted against india by both,

Why the change in behaviour.

No sure but maybe the range is mentioned because the missile is not suppose to cross 300 km mark, moreover even the Chinese version is a copy of the famous Soviet era Scud Missile, which was commercially available and have a sub 300 km range. And Pakistans paint probably doesn't allow to increase its range :nod:

So a Scud carbon copy, it should not excess 300 km mark by just paint job.

In response to multiple Missile test by India, Pakistan fired one of its imported state of the art soviet era technology class scud copy.
