The article concludes that the Constitution of Pakistan needs to be amended. I believe that international events will have outcomes fatal to GoP before that process can be completed even if begun. Is that too pessimistic?

Pakistan has entangled itself enough of problems like having antagonised US, deteriorating situation in Iraq and Syria, weak Afganistan, al qaeda, taliban, poor economy etc. and now the military strikes again...Pak army is one of few armiers in world- who own a country !

Pakistan has became a battleground between Saudi Arabia funded Deobandi Sunni and Wahabis and Iran funded Shia causing deaths of thousands of innocent Muslims

It is a writing on the wall now. Army is in a cold war with the civilian Govt.
Geelani is making overt statements and Kayani skipped Zardari hosted dinner party. PA-ISI are more interested in propping up their own political clowns like JUD into the mainstream.
As far as the word war goes, both parties want to pitch as the saner side in Pakistan. After all who gets the US candies post the final showdown, is yet to be determined
