1. Not excessive in number because the flow will slow down and there is silting and blockage. Rich landlords have built bypass canals for themselves
2. Desilting needs to be done regularly because the silt will cause flooding during monsoons. Bhookananga Pakis have not been doing this
3. Too many canals in the upper rivers (Pakjab) will cause drying in the lower areas (Sindh)
No need to believe me. Check every scholarly source and you will find that all this is true. And you bhookananga beggar nuclear grass eaters do not have the money to cure this and your "LOL governments" do not have the power to control this.
So yes bragging about Pakjab canals is like bragging about Mohammad Ghori and claiming how much you admire the effect of earlier rape.
Pakistan indeed had a very good canal system. But canal systems are not like Pakistani children who can be produced and then left without care, food, immunization or education.
