I Agree with you but understand if somebody is good to you because he fears you than he will strike at the time of ur weakness where as if somebody is good to you coz he is friend of urs than he would help you at the time of your weakness.Agreed friendship with pakistan is not easy but then it is not impossible and let face it pakistan is our neighbor it is not going anywhere.The benefit of friendship between the two are far much more than the destruction because of enmity between the two.

We can become all powerful and crush pakistan this may render pakistan to remain quite for some time but it will harbor grudge against india for this and would pounce on us on the very opportunity it gets .We will have to be on alert all the time because of this.

1 Become a big superpower militarly ,economically which enjoys a lot of clout in the world such as russia and america and then punish pakistan in short sharp attack and economic sanctions and let it be a reminder that any ill attempt will be met by a 10times stronger response this will sure keep pakistan quiet for this pakistan has to "really" fear india as world "fears" america.

2 Friendship with mutual respect and love for peace.

Hindus were the soul of west Punjab. As soon as they left the West Punjab was poor, intellectually inferior and backward. The emigrating Hindus and Sikhs made Delhi, Haryana and East Punjab the most prosperous areas of India.

So Mr. Om Puri, sit back and think. All your views today are related to money your movies can make in Pakistan, if you make the right noises. That is what you were doing. But on your Lahore trip visit a LET camp or meet their leader and hear what he has to say about you and India.
