Internationally, UN now takes our stance (bilateral issue) but avg. people I see abroad sometimes see India in same light as Israel (vis-a-vis Palestine). Others don't care.

What are you talking about ... Kashmir is the most secular place in India..... followed closely by Kerla and Bengal......
India is definitely winning in Kashmir.

Not sure about that.But there are few websites (which i have read) saying that Kashmir have hopes on BJP-PDP alliance that they may bring good infrastructure , medical and education facilities to jammu and kashmir. During assembly election voters turnout was approx.69 %. Which shows they have hopes on Indian government. And others say they want to merge with Pakistan .
And UN asked both IND and PAK to solve Kashmir issue among themself.

They did it for almost a decade, we know of the cases when encounters were a norm during 90's.

In response the enemies started the "human rights violation" narrative. Our guys failed to counter this particular narrative.

If I was President of India , I would ask indian army to dress up in salwar kameez (famous dress wore by pak-terrorists and pak forces )and raid the house in which seperatist staying. Kidnap them kill-bury-stay calm. It would look like attack of non-state actors.

Kashmir problem was created by Pakistani Army at the request of West ....to keep India under pressure. They still, are trying to keep this issue alive...But ,Kasmiris do not want more misery and pain...they want to live in peace and prosper. Pakistan is unable to fan the fire in Kashmir.
Because in trying to gain Kashmir ..they will lose Pakistan. Times have changed.

What Modi is doing is to somehow keep some peace in Kashmir . If the militants cause trouble we will crush them like cockroaches . We can only have peace in Kashmir by running covert ops inside Pakistan their is no other alternative.
Without blooding Pakistan there will be no peace .
