When it comes to paramilitary and Police the personals who have sacrificed are either inspector, sub inspector, constables and other ranks. Looks like Group A officers also known as IPS don't go on field and rather like to sit behind the table.This is Very unfortunate for India. Even earlier gen V.K. Singh had said that these IPS officers must come out from their chambers to work at field.
Some one needs to tweet this to Rajnath and other concerned ones and media too that Indian Group A police officers are just good for sitting on chair.

@Safir
completely agree. they r just leading cushy postings at the expense of ordianry cops. in the army, the officers r leading the OPs from the front! IPS shud do the same.

But the nature of IPS job is that he has to manage man and material from the backend. In the army, the DGMO office does that, so the officers can participate in ops. In the police domain, IPS officers are the de facto 'DGMO'. Anyway, they have proven their intellectual abilities and management skills, might as well give them a role that involves number crunching and material management.

V.K Singh only made a one off comment which was in the context of the CAG person making an adverse report against the availability of war material in the Army. I'm sure he didn't mean to imply that IPS officers should go on field ops. Those who still take interest in field ops, (ex Doval), are absorbed into the IB anyway. So there is a mechanism to foster talent and induct them at the right places. Maybe the ones sitting on desk jobs really are suitable for that job.

I expect LoC firings and terror attacks to step up as soon as Shitistani elections are announced. Not to mention attacks on our assets in Afghanistan.

2 Terrorists just confirmed their date with 144 hoors as always thanks Indian Army for making this happen our "peaceful" brothers are very lucky because they have Indian army which doesn't discriminate weather the terrorist is big or small old or new son of a rich doctor or poor headmaster if you want a date you get a date
