Read carefully. Some data sets are for families and some are for individual Chinese.

The comparison does not prove anything.

It is dependent on the cost of food and inflation.

If there is scarcity, the cost will increase. Hence, the family budget on food will be high, since one can do with other things, but not food!

Nop, good infrastructure can cost down lots of basic needs, like cost of transportation, power, health care. Nothing to do with exchange rate.

This data is also reflecting the how important the industrialization it is. At least the road network, communication system and power grid system got huge improvement in rural area to support such data for rural CHinese families owned.

Comparing India's recent world "golden medal"level national power failure, i think the gap between China and India's rural area is even bigger than the comparison of urban.

Why exclude 2 or three-wheelers? How convenient, just show the data in which China is at the top!
