CC don't you think that F1 has lost its charm? Just compare the sound of the Glorious V10s of 2004 and V6s of 2014. They sound pathetic. Saw the Australian Grand Prix and the Puny sounding Engines instantly put me off. Not interested to watch F1 anymore.

You should watch drag racing if you like watching racing for the sound effects, cause F1 is more than that, its wheel to wheel racing, the skills of the best drivers plus the cutting edge technology, strategies, teams and we saw that aplenty in todays race.

Drag racing sounds nowhere near as good as a Naturally Aspirated Engine screaming at 20000RPM, old F1 engines like V12s and V10s are like music instruments.

If F1 is more about technology then why the cars are slowing down each passing year? if you really like Wheel-to-Wheel racing do watch some of the old F1 clips. The wheel-banging fight between Arnaux and Gilles is something today's drivers can only dream about. Also why the cutting-edge technology like Active-suspension, Active-aero and Intelligent Front Differential are banned in F1?

I get what you're saying but for me i have to say that it's all about the racing (& FI doing well :p ) that's what matters to me, that is what i care about. All i ask for is that there should be lotsa overtaking + close finishes (between teams/teammates) don't really care about how it sounds TBH. And btw i think you're missing out on all the F1/FI action dude, if you still haven't watched the Bahrain GP then go do it now ! :)

Race - Hamilton dominates, Alonso beats Red Bulls in China 20 Apr 2014

On an afternoon which brought him his first hat-trick of consecutive wins and took his tally of Grand Prix victories level with Jim Clark and Niki Lauda on 25, Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton drove brilliantly to lead from start to finish as he dominated Sunday's race in China. As the Englishman sped away at the start, a slow getaway for team mate Nico Rosberg saw the championship leader drop as low as seventh before beginning a recovery that would eventually see him finish second, 18s adrift. His difficulties were compounded by lack of telemetry on his F1 W05. Front-row starter Daniel Ricciardo was also slow away as both Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa burst through. But as the Ferrari and the Williams dramatically banged wheels, Sebastian Vettel was able to snatch second ahead of the aggressive Spaniard. This day Red Bull did not have the pace to keep ahead of the red car, however, and Alonso was able to take Ferrari's first podium finish of the season, finishing 23.6s behind Hamilton. For the second race in a row Vettel was obliged to move over and let Ricciardo go, doing it with reluctance on the 25th lap, once he learned they were on the same medium-compound Pirelli tyre and the same two-stop strategy. A late charge, allied to some locking up by Alonso, enabled the Australian to close the gap to third, but at the flag he was still 3.5s behind. Vettel, however, was another 20.6s down the road, albeit well ahead of a big scrap between the underrated Nico Hulkenberg and the aggressive Bottas, whose Williams had also been in the wars in the first corner after a collision with Rosberg. By the flag the Finn was only 1.4s behind the German.

Yesterday Montreal GP was a thriller. Force India's did well. Segio Perez missed on some huge points due to last lap accident with Felippe Massa. It seems Sergio is penalised 5 grid positions for the accident. If Force India continues this way, they will dethrone Ferrari from third position.

Williams catching up on force India, pretty inevitable though. FI has failed to bring any considerable updates, i hope they bring good updates in silverstone.

Sergio Perez had the pace today with his three stop strategy, FI need to further work on reducing pit stop time, the got the tyre today for the race but his unfortunate 5 grid penalty. I feel sorry for the defending champion with all those disaster in their home circuit with an embarrassing retirement.
