1. India is not a continuous civilization. India did not come into existence until 1947. Thus, India cannot use China's argument of 7,000-year-old continuous civilization to claim territory under ancient rules.

3. India does not have Chinese military power to enforce its maritime territorial claim.

In conclusion, India cannot claim the Indian Ocean. Its situation is vastly different from China's.

I agree with everything you said, except for a slight nuance in #2. Japan has in fact claimed large oceanic territories fairly recently and even announced exclusive flight identification zones over Senkaku islands. In fact the Chinese aggression in SCS started after Japan, with tacit endorsement from the US, started expending its air defense identification zone.

This has led to China and Japan having large areas of overlapping air defense zones which each of them claims to be their own.

They even have their own version of 'Chinese Hanuman' in their ancient Chinese scriptures who is claimed to have taken a journey to the west (India), just like Indian Hanuman traveled to the south (Lanka).

There's no official document, or school syllabus that preaches that defeatist theory, it's just fake secular nationalists like you who propagate that fairytale on social media.
