What reason? Can you tell me? Did China ever rule there? On the other hand, Indians have had quite an influence in Vietnam and nearby area centuries back.
Don't you know about the han chinese mermans and mermaids who ruled the south chini seas??
This was 10000 years ago when ching chong chuuu tiya, the merman ruled the south chini seas.
How dare you question this fact??

There are three problems with your suggestion.

1. India is not a continuous civilization. India did not come into existence until 1947. Thus, India cannot use China's argument of 7,000-year-old continuous civilization to claim territory under ancient rules.

2. India does not have a Chinese 1947 nine-dash-line map that demarcates its territorial claim.

3. India does not have Chinese military power to enforce its maritime territorial claim.

In conclusion, India cannot claim the Indian Ocean. Its situation is vastly different from China's.
hahahaha,.. and China was an independent country since 7000 years? :pound::pound::pound::pound:

1. LOL, forget India ask any pakistani on PDF, he will give you a history of 10 thousands year civilization
On serious note as for as continuity is concerned we are following our ancient civilization until today not as homogeneously as PRC, but still
Note that there is not even a single China to clame Chinese civilization
2 Nine dash line, some illiterate ancient Chinese drawn a line and you are claiming entire SCS on the basis of that, lol
Suppose if Japan has been claiming this type of ridiculous territory, what would be the Chinese response
3. Yes true but power don't give you right to illegitimately claim others properties

I agree with everything you said, except for a slight nuance in #2. Japan has in fact claimed large oceanic territories fairly recently and even announced exclusive flight identification zones over Senkaku islands. In fact the Chinese aggression in SCS started after Japan, with tacit endorsement from the US, started expending its air defense identification zone.

This has led to China and Japan having large areas of overlapping air defense zones which each of them claims to be their own.

This is not hypothetical anymore. That IS pretty much what is happening. Japanese moves and Chinese counter-moves.

They claim Arunachal to be South Tibet. It's time we told them that Beijing is actually North Bihar and laid claim to it as our sovereign territory. :pound:

@Martian @amoy @no smoking @nimo_cn
And other Chinese members.
I guess I have no problem with China's ancient sovereignty over South China Sea if they could help us to gain our ancient in the entire subcontinent (including Afghanistan, pak, BD, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc..).
China came 2000 years ago but we have been around 3500 B.C. , much before even China. :biggrin2:
Will you be ready to risk your strategic partners as the part of Indian Federation?. Tell me. :D

You said it sarcastically but there are Chinese propaganda accounts on various forums promoting this theory in reality. They claim that religion flowed from China into India. They even have their own version of 'Chinese Hanuman' in their ancient Chinese scriptures who is claimed to have taken a journey to the west (India), just like Indian Hanuman traveled to the south (Lanka).

He's called Sun Wukong : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Wukong

Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, is a mythological figure who features in a body of legends, which can be traced back to the period of the Song dynasty. He appears as a main character in the Chinese classical novel Journey to the West. Sun Wukong is also found in many later stories and adaptations. In the novel, he is a monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices. After rebelling against heaven and being imprisoned under a mountain by the Buddha, he later accompanies the monk Xuanzang on a journey to retrieve Buddhist sutras from India.

cc @AbRaj there is nothing in this world which doesn't have a cheap Chinese imitation version:pound:

Chinese Hanuman fan art is a rage in their country. It depicts him in various historic wars (carrying saffron flag) just like we do. It's just that the writing on the saffron flag is Chinese and their Hanuman sits on dragon :pound:

It doesn't take much to change that dialogue. There's no official document, or school syllabus that preaches that defeatist theory, it's just fake secular nationalists like you who propagate that fairytale on social media. The only way for stupidity to end is for stupid people to stop saying stupid things. I bet you also believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam doctrine.

There are (were) Buddhist and Hindu shrines in Afghanistan before Laden destroyed them just a decade ago. Kandahar was actually called Gandhar. There are Hindu shrines in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and even as far as Indonesia. Did they fall from the skies? it's a result of the propagation of Hinduism. When someone says that India never invaded foreign land, it's because these are the lands where Hinduism spread peacefully. That context is lost when someone says 'we never spread Hinduism beyond our borders' while speaking in the limited context of our current political borders. Hinduism spread far and wide to (what we now know as) 'foreign countries' by our kings and saints. It's just that since all these countries were not considered as foreign countries but rather a part of a larger pan-Hindu empire, hence the claims that we never invaded foreign lands. If you take it out of context then it becomes a blatant lie.

So deep was the Hindu influence that the universities of Indonesia still have Ganesha as their emblem. Here's the currency of Indonesia with Shiva, Buddha and Ganesha :

Indonesian university emblems.

Please continue living in a dream world, don't worry about facts, it's not like sickulars hold factual accuracy in high regard anyway.

I don't even care if they help us to be honest. Kick their ass. Lets divide up their territory and turn them into a puppet state if they don't let go of all Han majority territories and reinstate the Kuomintang. Also I just started reading Journey to the West.
