Plus it will force pakistan to mobilize military (in response to Indian mobilization) which if lasted for 6-8 months would bankrupt pakistan.

Also RAW will have a free hand to target porki leadership and their families.

It will also ensure bjp in power for next term with overwhelming majority.

I dont agree. Pakis and more specifically ISI are not known for cold calculations. Also loss of Modi can lead to huge vacuum in India. As for mobilization, China will counter mobilize. Ultimately if something like this happens, we should simply launch all our nukes at once and blow them off the face of the earth.No first use is a policy of cowards. However better is to cut all contacts with them, seal Indo Nepal border and beef up IB and RAW along with building military strength. Dont assume ISI will not provoke. That is their job.

Yes their job is to provoke enough so that India is forced to talk on Kashmir. Anything more and they loose their own cause.

Mumbai attack hurt them badly , talks on Kashmir never recovered to pre Mumbai levels. That is why now most of the attacks are directly on military installations and not in civilian areas . Because they very well know that another attack like Mumbai and Kashmir is off the table for another decade.

China won't interfere . They will not make an enemy out of us for Pakistans sake.

ISI is keeping unusually quiet after surgical strike. My sense is that pakis are planning some big terror attack like assassination of modi perhaps. IB should get aggressive to hunt down sleeper cells in our country
