reading good things about it, and also that its the movie that has collected the most in its opening at the box-office in hollywood's history.

i became very selective in movie-watching long back; unlike many who nearly watch any & every movie, i just watch those which have some real quality content & worth, and esp. those which appeal to me/my inclination(s). life is short & there're many important things to do/absorb, than explode your mind with the incessant information-bombardment from all quarters nowadays!
in that sense, will post some titles that i can recommend highly any given day in here!

some that i can recall right now:

- do aankhein baarah haath
- stalag 17
- das boot (director's edition)
- hum paanch
- guide
- baraka
- unforgiven
- samsara
- life cycles
- the shawshank redemption *
- the green mile *
- blood diamond *
- body of lies
- peaceful warrior
- anbe sivam (love is god)
- naan kadavul (aham brahmaasmi)
- the changeling
- interstellar
- the dark knight
- prahaar
- lakshya
- paan singh tomar
- kahaani
- bhaag milkha bhaag
- seraphim falls
- ong bak
- the equaliser
- the book of eli
- jaane bhi do yaaron
- andaaz apna-apna
- hera pheri (new one)
- ip man
- the stoneman murders
- gulaal
- maharathi
- district 9
- sector 13 (or 9?! can't recall)
- gran torino
- million dollar baby
- master & commander: far side of the world

* these i re-watched the last week, aur saptaah safal ho gaya!

I just watched American sniper. Great movie, story is universal about the price you pay for war on a personal level. Reminded me of 4th of July. Eastwood really is a master.

Have you watched Eastwood's other two war-based movies?
