I feel Saudis will come to bailout Pakistan yet again, in return for even greater control over that country, this time perhaps military assets. Already Saudis have great leverage over Pakistan and with Sharif ensconced as premier why not? Saudis need Pakistan to outflank Iran. Nothing else matters to Arabs.
From ancient times Arabs are rabidly anti-Persian and it continues to today. It is something in the Arab blood, because at a time when Arabs were mere blood thirsty tribes killing each other and enslaving each other's women, Iran was a great empire, one of the greatest east of Egypt. In preIslamic times Persian owned most Arab lands and used to whip them at will. Arabs were able to get back at Persian only through the use of religious nationalism.
Even after the advent of Islam, however, Persia evolved as a Shia power house and it has helped sustain the Arab abhorrence of Persians.
In fact the history of West Asia is nothing but a continuing narrative of Arab-Persian enmity, written in blood.
