Lightly Armed Gunships, Drones and New Gen MRAP/MPVs need to be implemented in order to fight this Leftist Terrorist insurgency in the heart of India. I and many others had posted about this in the past in this thread and threads before this as well but there is still opposition against this for some reason. Sometimes I don’t understand our own people’s mentality. Kashmiri Terrorists are technically our own people but we do everything in power to terminate them in battle in whatever way possible likewise maoists need to be dealt with the same way. This insurgency is taking its toll and India can’t win this war by just giving away money to maoists for surrender or just through poverty eradication.
Only elimination isnt the complete solution. There is an endless supply of cannon fodder in any insurgency which keeps it alive. While there shld be no restraint in usage of heavy ammo and firepower against naxals the carrot goes together with stick. Only stick doesnt work always. Even in Kashmer Govt has shown them carrots of tourism growth, economic development etc. Its the economic development which ultimately weans away the recruits.
I remember the days during my stay in CG, Raipur when Kolkata Mumbai Rajdhani used to be stopped outside CG border for night halt and passed through the state in the day only with crpf monitoring all the way. It used to arrive Nagpur 8 hrs late everyday. Naxals often target road construction eqpmnt for this reason only. Economic development and Govt ingress will break their hold over the people. Locals are also fed up of naxals and many work with them under life threat.

They are not able to master ww2 weapon like sten gun but they are trying hard.
Mortar shell they manufacture are of low quality and are fired from 51mm mortar looted from Indian state forces.
From these ubgl they fire low quality grenades

Naxalite plan to manufacture rocket
The Maoists envisaged executing “Project Rocket Launchers (RL)”
in two phases –– “RL–I” and “RL –II”.31 RL–I was a pilot project
undertaken ahead of elections to the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative
Assembly in 2004. The plan was to manufacture 25 rockets with launch
pad at a cost of Rs 950 per rocket. In the process, five rockets each were
distributed to Anantapur, Guntur and Nallamala. Five were tested at
various locations in Prakasam district, and five were set aside for further
trials in order to develop the next version.RL–IIwas a project for the
development of the shoulder-fired rockets and launchers. These were
tested in September/October 2004, when Maoists, following the trials,
were of the opinion that the rockets were neither effective enough nor
accurate, but had nuisance value. After the second set of trials, Tech Madhu was instructed to have 1,600 rockets and 40
rocket launchers manufactured. Accordingly,
he headed to Chennai and got 1,550 rockets
and 40 RLs manufactured. Tech Madhu
was given Rs 35 lakh to execute the plan.
Irrespective of these rockets possessing mere
nuisance value, presently, seeing the building
up of their weapon programme, as and when
the Maoists acquire the ability to manufacture
rockets with accuracy, their lethal impact
would be enormous.

Maoist weapon are very much of low quality even they not reached their weapon making capability of ww2 comparable
The Maoists have seven such arms factories, which they call Technical Research Arms Manufacturing Unit (TRAM). These units are manned by 15 scientists who oversee production and supply of weapons and systems to the Maoist cadres. From rocket launchers to grenade launchers and from assault rifles to mortars, the Maoists have ramped up their self-reliance making it less necessary to seek weapons from outside.

Which type of operation is crpf is going to conduct?
1) search and rescue(if soldier is not captured)
2) bargaining from naxali
3) surprise attack on naxali camp
In 2011/12 they kidnapped a collector of district and took release of 5 prisoners among one was wife of a naxal leader. She was running a orphanage on behalf of harsh manadr (soros ka bacha)

Unlike the 1990s, Indian RISAT satellites and P8-I aircraft can pick up this weapons cache hidden in the jungles, as well as naxal groups hidden under the canopy. Thanks to target-practice at LoC, we have the capability to deal these fuckers the most primal slaughter imaginable. I guess the hold-up is West Bengal election. Lutyen's media is playing up the hostage crisis to put Modi on the backfoot. The goal is to thin CAPF deployment in WB/AS.

You have to give them credit for their creativity tho. Considering the resources and technical expertise they have, relatively they are doing a better job then IOF.

Because they have a sense of urgency, and variety of consequences for failure, for themselves and their kamredes.

nothing meanwhile changes for DPSU employees and whatever baboons are employed in the OFBs

Most of their weapon used gunpowder and fire cracker powder.
Their rocket, mortar and under barrel grenade employ crude weapon manufacturing techniques. Even a unskilled labour can do this type of manufacturing after a week of training.
Most of their weapons don't work and just produce smoke and sound. They even don't blast properly (ied an exception).
Maoist still can't manufacture basic bullet. They always loot bullets from Indian state
