It is our MoD and MHA, Poor WW2 training, shitty equipments, boomer culture in military and police. Armed Rustom-1 or even swarm drones showcased by army can wipe them out everyday or surprise strikes. Its a shame that they operate for decades in our own soil and that to hundreds of kilometres far from any nearby international border.

Not just surprise air strike... If survailance drones used properly jawans can be informed well before they are ambushed . Not just camera.. heat seeking device , movement detector can be attached .
I dnt think technology is used to full extent . These maoists are local people . They knw terrain . Local people give them infos out of fear ... Maoists even send fresh fish , chicken to certain police stations for the infos to keep coming or directly threatens them..... Its nt a fair fight ..
And I feel maoists shd be treated like any other terrorist in kashmir . There are lots of sympathy for them in system due to liberal arts education graduates from some noterious universities occupy many top posts ..

Funny thing is Rustom-1 has more or less the same specs and capabilities of that of Bayraktar TB2 but IAF wants expensive imported birds and Bayraktar TB2 got all fame. Turkey worked on UCAVs while we were dreaming, we need atleast a thousand UCAVs of Rustom-1/Bayraktar TB2 class. It may sound funny but why not go the Turkish way? Import majority of the components from Abroad and just design and assemble them in India for making UCAVs.

This is Unacceptable. The current doctrine/strategy is costing us life of jawans and policemen instead destroying the enemy. Losing 20 men like this is outrageous.

This is poor training and tactics.. Walking into an ambush time and again like zombies.. The commanders and Government needs to be ashamed of themselves, of using desperate job seeking poor youth as cannon fodder.. Yes, deaths will occur..but atleast improve your tactics..

Until officers like IPS Kalluri and organisations like Salwa Judum and Naga battalions are brought back we might see more of such attack happen.

They need to be given a free hand and then we can see change.

I mean the fear of nagas and SJ is still on naxals and during tenure of IPS Kalluri in Bastar highest no of naxali body count and surrender was seen.

By your logic, murican forces in Iraq & Afghanistan should not have been attacked beyond the first year. Muricans had everything with them drone, satellites, superior firepower etc etc..

And yet IED attacks did happen on murican forces, why?

keep in mind IED attacks on murican forces reduced only when they stopped going outside barracks for operations, that is the phase they are in right now.

How far is Iraq and Afghanistan from USA vis a vis Chhattisgarh? It is our own state deep inside India while Iraq and Afghanistan is 1000s of kilometres away.
