In short
there is a problem with IPS, they take charge of all the security institutions except army institution. Even in IB and RAW there is a problem, that IB cadre and RAS cadre people , who are extensively trained are not given leadership charge.


I believe IPS should only be concerned with state police. And only be then deputed when completely absorbed in the cadre in a specific module, like IRS officers if are deputed in intelligence should mostly be concerned with economic and financial intelligence. There is a big flaw in Civil Services segregation.

Some say, this is because they know how to administer an organisation, but just only administration is not sufficient.

What do you think, maybe we need to install small tracker chips inside all guns carried by CRPF in naxal areas. First benefit is it will allow in blue force tracking during ops and secondly, if the equipment is stolen, you can track the guns and then find out where the Naxals are hiding.

Every expert clearly states the real problem is regular police... its clear cut we cant rely on stationed police on information and intelligence.

Police have to own blame and take responsibility for these lost brave people. Home ministry has to raise seperate police force in such areas and they should be minimum graduates to understand and gather intelligence.

Hope soon we hear retribution on these naxsl ba$tards.

he was alluding to the contrast between the cadre that heads our CRPF v/s who heads paki para forces, going forward from what @ezsasa had shared.
we can give our enemies some credit too where its due. for instance, 'traditionally' the intel-agencies of pakistan as well as some other (even smaller) asian countries have been said to be having an upper hand & 'sly, crafty' minds & novel ways as against our own, particularly the IB.
