Sleeper cells are a major threat, I ask all fellow DFI'ans, is there any threat to us, considering lot's of J&K youth are joining major universities but maybe indoctrinated, they are spreading all across the country. Who know's they have hidden agendas.

This amassing many J&K youths, in Army, Police, and recently I read 700 youth have applied for DU. I know only 1% of them will make it through, but they have benefits. My younger bro who is in India's top 10 Biomedical institutes told me that they enjoy greater relaxation than others do. While it's good, I've no hate for those who really want to make something good outta there lives, but who is giving the guarantee that even 20% of the total J&K youth have a hidden agenda.

I am thinking of possibly a worst case scenario, I know it ain't happening but still something just not looks right to me. I think there must be a way to track them all, segregating them will only enrage them, but covertly all telecoms companies should collect data about every J&K citizen and make it separate, It's not that hard, since govt. will be handling the funds. Say one Data farm would be enough for every J&K citizen.

What do you thinks guys?

At least 36 dead in botched robbery of Manila casino: Reports

Dozens of police trucks and a handful of huge Special Action Force vans and armoured personnel carriers lined side streets near the hotel, casino and shopping mall complex as the drama unfolded.

At least 36 people are dead after a gunman burst into a Manila casino, firing shots and setting gaming tables alight, Philippine media reported on Friday, in what officials said was a botched robbery attempt. Police said the unidentified gunman had killed himself after firing at armed officers searching the still-smoking Resorts World Manila entertainment complex hours after the drama that began shortly after midnight (1600 GMT).

A presidential spokesman has confirmed that the attack at Philippine casino resort has no direct link to ‘terrorists’ in Marawi city as most people died due to suffocation.

Many of the dead suffocated in the chaos as guests and staff tried to flee choking smoke at the complex, according to a report by ANC News channel, quoting Bureau of Fire Protection sources. Resort owner Travellers International Hotel Group Inc said authorities were still seeking details.

“We have been informed of several casualties, the number and identities of whom have yet to be determined,” it said in a statement. Its shares were down 7 percent.

Around dawn, the body of the suspected gunman was found in a hotel room in the complex, which is close to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and an air force base, police said. “He burned himself inside the hotel room 510,” national police chief Ronald dela Rosa told a media conference. “He lay down on the bed, covered himself in a thick blanket and apparently doused himself in gasoline.”

The bodies of two of the victims had been taken to the Veronica funeral parlour, staff member Leni Domingo told Reuters. Officials said at least 54 people were hurt, some seriously, as they rushed to escape what at first had been feared as a militant attack.

Dela Rosa told DZMM radio the lone gunman had not aimed his assault rifle at people and may have been trying to steal casino chips. “Don’t panic, this is not a cause for alarm. We cannot attribute this to terrorism,” Dela Rosa said.

“We are looking into a robbery angle because he did not hurt any people and went straight to the casino chips storage room. He parked at the second floor and barged into the casino, shooting large TV screens and poured gasoline on a table setting it on fire,” he said.

Police said the gunman was tall with a pale complexion and spoke English.

Videos posted earlier on social media showed people fleeing as several loud bangs were heard. “Even the security personnel panicked. Maybe because of the heavy firearm, they can’t put up a fight so they prioritised life and safety,” Jeff Santos, a high roller at Resorts World Manila, told a Philippine radio station. “Definitely us patrons we did not expect that, everyone ran away.”

Jeri Ann Santiago, who works in the emergency room at the San Juan de Dios hospital, said patients were suffering the effects of smoke inhalation and some had injuries such as fractures. None had gunshot wounds, she said.

Kimberly Molitas, a spokeswoman for the capital’s police office, said 113 million Philippine pesos ($2.27 million) worth of casino chips stolen during the raid had been recovered.

“Please help pray for the injured and the loss of lives due to suffocation,” she said in a message to reporters.

The Philippines has been on heightened alert amid a crisis in the south of the country, where troops have been battling Islamist rebels since May 23. President Rodrigo Duterte declared martial law on the southern island of Mindanao last week and has warned it could become a haven for supporters fleeing Iraq and Syria.

Dela Rosa said there had been no specific, credible terror threat in Manila so far.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said Washington was closely monitoring what he described as a “terrorist” attack unfolding in Manila. The US embassy in Manila told Americans there to exercise caution and to review their personal security.

Dozens of police trucks and a handful of huge Special Action Force vans and armoured personnel carriers lined side streets near the hotel, casino and shopping mall complex as the drama unfolded.

Gil Yonco, 54, stood weeping in the street at around 5 a.m. His daughter had been on the second floor inside Resorts World and called her father for help because she was being suffocated by smoke.

He tried calling back but there was no answer. “I am very worried as a parent, I need to find her,” he said.

A casino worker named Julio from the third floor of the complex told DZMM radio he heard many gunshots and saw people running up the stairs from the second floor. Ronald Romualdo, a maintenance worker at Resorts World, told the station he saw a woman fall from an upper floor while trying to escape. “Several people were injured,” he said.

No, CAS is the last thing that we want to do in the Kashmir.

If you know, we've used it in Mizoram 1966.

What good it brought!!?? Nothing!!

IA is doing fine in Kashmir.

Look it this way and I am making up numbers...

Out of every 100 people, 1 is a terrorist and 4 are his sympathisers, 95 have nothing to do with them.

If you use CAS, there is no guarantee that 5 i.e terrorist and his supporters die with zero Infrastructure and collateral damage.

Due to CAS atleast 10 from 95 will turn against you due to collateral damage; i.e they might become terrorists or terrorist sympathisers.

If you use army, searching for terrorists, helping in evacuation of civilians, treating them atleast one of these sympathisers or some times even terrorists will surrender and give up what they are doing to start new life.

I've seen to videos of Kashmiri terrorists who gave up terrorism and started leading a peaceful life. They are posted on this forum too.

In short, CAS is not the option if you really want to fight against terrorism.

It's interesting to note that,

  1. Duterte travels to Russia to improve relations...followed by a terrorist attack.
  2. Duterte slams the clintons.
  3. Within 24hrs there is a major terrorist attack again.
Coincidence? I don't think so, deep state is active!

He even admits that Deep state is pushing his nation for Chinese war.

Interesting perspective, I appreciate that, but who is saying we will drop bombs, just use some 30mm on them from air.

I got a strange stupid question...

If Philippines come and ask India to help them, should we interfere....

If so, how... I remember, we've helped Maldives in similar situation (not so similar, Mercenaries tried to Kill their President not civilians) and we sorted the issue in 18 hrs flat.

I don't know much about the situation, if Dutrete asks help, how long it will take us to clean up the mess. I don't know about the situation on the ground, so gurus please shed some light.

Propaganda that IA is using armed helos and CAS against un armed Kashmiri is more than enough to compel brain dead to join terrorism

But why buy armed halos when you can't even use them, isn't it waste of precious military funds. I thinks it was bought for CAS roles, but not using them is tremendous waste.

On propaganda though, if we still going to go forward with this BS than we can never clean the valley. Someone needs to take hard decisions, it's fine to have men on ground and cut those a-holes like grass, but this will take years. It's a slow process and nobody know if it will stop. I know that world asks us about human right violations, but who gives a fuck when allied world policing system drop bombs and kills thousand of innocent men, women and children and they get to go away by saying a single sentence ... "it is collateral damage".

"Double standards should be dealt with double standards" that's it.

a disproportionately high number of these students you'll find espousing the jihadi cause. an ex-colleague of mine was once empathising with them & retelling sob stories of his Kashmiri college peers, that the poor sods used to tell how IA tortures & punishes them. but then there are those like late lt. umar faiyyaaz too. however, there are then a large no. of those like the NIT Srinagar ones, the Meerut college ones, twitter India head, etc. if one suspects someone (Kashmiri muslim or otherwise), can report him to the agencies.

Unless the root cause is not addressed, Islamic terrorism will never vanish.

1. Ban mosques. Mosques are single greatest source of Jihadi makers. It's one thing to read online but what mosques do at a different level. Mosques groom young muslims, kids, boys from early age and it's really only one way for these kids to grow into.

2. Islamic preachers. These guys preach venom and nothing else. Both preachers and their preachings should be banned.

3. Monies. This whole thing needs serious money. We all know the backers in back.

All these 3 can be done but WON'T be done because the countries affected by it want to pretend to be secular and pander to the left leaning societies they have become.
