In continuation of my obsession with DD ACCC (AC Double Decker coaches), here is the latest picture of one of the damaged double decker coaches after failed trials.

Description:

The damage caused by scraping with the edges of platform.This is the pic of the lower deck of the new rake given to ER by RCF for Dhanbad - Howrah Double Decker Train (Vivian Boye)

Comments:

First platforms will be reworked, and then the coaches will be touched up & coated with vinyl.

If vinyl coating is put now even that will get scraped off.

So why use tapes to cover up when we have the ever'GREEN' vinyl sticker technique!

oh!! very bad... I think first DD ACCC coaches much needed/helpful/safely in WR between Mumbai & Ahemdabad/Surat, becoz 12921/12922 Flying Ranee express running with safe distance from Platforms between BCT & ST.

I didn't even know somethin' like this existed in this country!

They were supposed to be the modern version (when they were introduced i.e.) and were introduced as a quasi-DMU for Narrow Gauge to replace the old fashioned locomotive (ZDMx) hauled NG trains.

MUTP 2 gonna activate soon
second phase will have new local trains which are complete steel body and have no paint..
i cant wait to see them..
MUTP I local trains are best till now
