iirc we have various DRDO projects for radar, missiles and electronics, don't know if the rest of the plane was being manufactured here from scratch or was screwdrivergiri involved.

Naval variant of ALH most likely.
As per a report by The Hindu a couple of years ago, Navy will eventually procure 60 Naval ALH and 51 Naval LUH for their 111 NUH requirement.
