Looks decent
cruise speed= 40m/s=144km/hr
range= 100km
so ideal endurance would be = 42 minutes
that would be time taken to reach target 100km away so basically it would be for static targets as a swarm drone cause there is no camera

This video's (acceleration) make me feel brahmos is even beyond mach 4 capable missile.
Technically ramjets are capable of reaching speeds upto mach 5.
And can still go beyond but then it's efficiency falls drastically..
Mastering control laws is itself and another challenge...

Impossible to judge from that video what mach it is....eyes are two slow and most often perception of eye is very wrong even for much slower movements when it comes to speed estimates. I doubt it develops that speed so early and low.
yea also the fact that it is travelling upwards after the 90 degree turn but it seem going straight due to curvature of earth

"Defence testing infrastructure will now be easily available"
Haha, I will believe this only after an FTB for kaveri is flying. Else it's pure jhumla like existing aatmanirbharta

Good points, Private companies will invest only when there is money to be made. Tata invested in Kestral, where is it now not even one ordered. There is no clarity on the number to be built, no clarity on the share of work and not evern proper road map. Every year someone comes up new dates, Pvt companies are accountable to every penny they spend. No wonder no pvt company is interested in building it.
Sad but this is true of Pvt companies world over. Hence we have to learn from US MIC and MoD where they assure the Pvt companies of confirmed bulk orders once they win the contract. But here in Bharat what do we have ? RR by own forces of this and that requirements not matching, 1kg overweight, doesn't work on Mars, imported maal quality is better, ever changing requirements and finally an order of a half a dozen or a dozen (if you're lucky) underwear . Pray why should any sane Pvt industry invest or even compete for this bhiksha ?

I mean MCC is active how can deal be signed or clearance be given
If clearance would have been given earlier then it's fine to sign now but clearance doesn't seem possible
From all I have heard something is/was supposed to be announced today if it isn't announced today it's probably won't be before elections

Sss bags another deal for ammo after nepal they are doing good in this sector
It looks like the contract is for FMJ rounds which will likely be used for training purposes instead of actual ops. Don't see hollow points listed on their website. That should be a ~$20k contract assuming the average cost of 20¢/round for 9mm FMJ rounds

More state police depts should follow suit and give contracts to SSS and the likes over OFBs'

Hopefully we get some insights on the quality and performance of the ammunition, since the technology is from the reputed Brazilian Ammunition Manufacturer CBC Defence.
