1. all governments always try to " cover" something as possbile as they can,including not only Chinese government, but aslo Indian govenment and west govenments.
don't forget how "watergate" happened.
don't forget how Yankee's government tried to monitor its citizens' telephon,under the name of " anti-terror"
" cover " or " monitor" is not the privilege of Chinese government.
the only difference is that CHinese government do it openly while west government and indian government do it secretely.
2.frankly speaking, I never heard that any PC-user around is required to installed such "cencorship softwares".
