Sinking is going a but too far!!!!!!They have crossed the line this time !
How many more of our fishermen have to die more to convince this shit government eh?! Any liberal intellectuals here waiting to bleed for the SL Navy now?
The IN should sink a patrol boat of SL Navy to make sure that they know where they are going. To HELL with diplomacy... if they want to take Chinese side, let them because of this payback. At least they will know that they won't last long if they keep killing our people like this.
IN already has a presence in that area. Which is not being effective. By aggressive patrolling, it means that you apprehend any action against the country's people such as the case above. The SL Navy is doing just that. Which means, if we see them killing our Tamil fishermen, IN has to take retaliatory action which might mean warning the SL Navy and even firing at them. Small arms or rockets doesn't matter. But we cannot let them get away with murdering our people.Sinking is going a but too far!!!!!!
A Destroyer over there will make them piss their pants , should solve the problem
This is conspiracy theory mate. Although I don't rule it out, the person who's working for China is simply a person in SL Navy doing so. And remember, the Sinhala Nationalist Rajapakse government isn't exactly genuinely friendly with us either. We extended our hand of friendship not for them to start killing our people. They have to be warned that if this happens again, we will have to reconsider aggressive retaliation.somebody in SL Navy is working overtime to create bad blood between india and SL, to make matters easy for China and its whore !!!!
Actually, it should be the Coast guard not IN who has the responsibility to guard coastal shores.. But South-Eastern command of coast guard is not that active as we do have in Western command...It's stupid to kill a poor fisherman, even if he has crossed international waters. Crossing over into SL waters might be unintentional, the killing of the fisherman is not. SL navy could have warned the boats to back off.
IOR is our backyard and it's time to put the message across. An eye for an eye, it's time the IN takes out a whole SL navy ship.
We have an excellent diplomatic government who thinks of solving all issues starting from 26/11 to till date, diplomatically.. Do you think our gov will take an aggressive stance against SL?This is conspiracy theory mate. Although I don't rule it out, the person who's working for China is simply a person in SL Navy doing so. Spineless, inept, lack of foresight and out of sync with national interests. Yes i am talking about GoI.We have an excellent diplomatic government who thinks of solving all issues starting from 26/11 to till date, diplomatically.. Do you think our gov will take an aggressive stance against SL?
How will it put pressure? See this is called reverse psychology. They know fool well that they can't do jack to us but knowing our government, they are taking the advantage that "let us be what we are or we will align to China".Getting the small countries in the IOC on our side is good for us, letting them go to the Chinese side will only increase their chances of putting pressure on us diplomatically as well as by under hand measures, every countries support we loose is a reduction in winability in a war in the IOR
Lame 'liberal' cowardice.RANT 101
make them dependent on us so we can force them to boycott any thing we don't like by simply threatening to push the break economic ties button......What kind of economic ties do you have in mind, India just a month ago gave SL navy millions of dollars and they have thanked us by killing two of our fisherman and what does the govt do in response? Nothing.
If a nation isn't capable of defending its own people, then what other purpose does it have? UN seats and Super power status are useless if your people are dying, day-in and day-out.
Do you know what it means to kill Indian civilians in Indian territorial waters?Do that we can kiss our International Good rep and chances of the permanent UNSC seat good bye....
Diplomacy is enough to keep the lankans at check they won't push the situation too far as they know that we can impose our will on them when ever we want to...
The dropping of supplies over the Jaffna peninsula is an example of this...
Shri lanka is having a big illusion about its potential despite the fact that it is just a pawn of chinese string of perl strategy. They are definitely taking advantage of situation and want to give message to us that "if you stop us we will align with china" as they think china can practically help them. Its time for india to clearly give message to all such countries that be gentle with India or they'll not have any future and all these countries specially shrilanka don't have any option to align with china. How will it put pressure? See this is called reverse psychology. They know fool well that they can't do jack to us but knowing our government, they are taking the advantage that "let us be what we are or we will align to China".
India needs to be strong on some stances where it conveys that "you do that, and you're in heap load of trouble in conflict". Once such a message is conveyed in actions, all the posturing will be stopped.
