Not gonna happen. According to UN resolutions, Pakistani forces had to vacate the occupied Kashmir to allow plebiscite but that never happened, so India is not anymore bound to hold referendum. Moreover it is 60 yrs now and there were many demographic changes and the UN resolutions are as good...

Comparing Sweden to Kashmir in any which way is like comparing oranges and apples. I don't know what Pakistani part Kashmiris call themselves as, but I can say this based on my interaction with students from J&K that they call themselves as Indians and then only call themselves as Kashmiris...

Our government doesn't support any plebiscite in Kashmir. It is not possible to recover parts of Kashmir from Pakistan and China without risking a war. There is no solution right now apart from accepting status quo or risking a war to get back those lands into Indian fold.
