With all the planes data linked, wonder if only one aircraft turns radar on and shares the feed with other aircraft. I do not know if it is possible but very much feasible.

The AWACS killer is highly overrated IMO. AWACS always flies with a protective CAP and has a very powerful radar. A missile fired 200 KMs away will give ample warning to the AWACS and it's protective cover to plan for counter measures. If successful the Air Force in question would not mind...
