    Last year. It was broadcasted in a local Assamese channel. They were looking for a senior NDFB-S commander inside Manas National Park. Manas was a safe haven (still is) for militants, due to its porous border with Bhutan, which has Royal Manas National Park on its side.

    Military and police cannot touch NSCN (IM) because of ceasefire and NSCN (IM) take this ceasefire for granted for creating nuisance to civilians and forces. This is why such posturing happens. None of the parties want escalation yet none of the parties want to look weak in front of the other.
