Seattle coronavirus survivor gets a $1.1 million, 181-page hospital bill
Looks like he will not pay a dime and insurance will bear the full brunt. Makes one wonder whether US is really a capitalist or a socialist country.

And who was paying his insurance premium ?

Socialists or he himself ?
"Flor said he’s hyper-aware that somebody is paying his million-dollar bill — taxpayers, other insurance customers and so on. “Fears of socialism” have always stopped us from guaranteeing full health care for everyone, he said. But there’s also the gold-plated costs here, twice as expensive per capita as anywhere else in the world. "

He must have been a good lab rat for the researchers. Long run, the cost will pay itself off.

Those f*ckers at the BBC wants a community transmission in India. So, what to expect from them!!!

Despite of the fact their own country failed miserably. Their royal family got infected & their PM too.

24 year old guy died of COVID19 near my village. No previous history of illness. He came back from Delhi and was quarantined. When his Health deteriorated he was tested, dies 2 days after test.
The disease has no set pattern. We are in a completely unchartered territory.

Young people dying just like that ? This is far worse than any of us anticipated. Can you pull up more details on his health ? Was he a smoker or any malnutrition or anything ?

Community level might very well be there in some parts of the country, but the country is definitely not at that stage.
The country our size has done admirably well. Our numbers look large because we are large. When measured in normalized way, our numbers shine.

These worthless guys don the mask of "experts" and give statements on paper just because some newspaper guy wants to publish negative news. No sense of proportion or purpose, but instant gratification.

A question, even if it is motivated, should be replied with credible data that proves the opposite.

We need credible counter arguments.

If you find any authentic source that counters the above theory, please link it here. Will be very educational for us to get both sides of the story. I could not find any that appeared unbiased.

Immune system is heavily responsible which vastly varies from person to person.

Don't worry the world has seen enough and also knows enough about how India has responded and/or responding.

@here2where No amount of data is going to change their views. Its time that we reply them in their own way.

The onus lies on the person who writes the story with providing a data to prove his conclusion no we can't ask that you give counter point with data , If someone provide data then it can be countered with data if someone gives rhetoric how else the other side can prove it with data .

@Sanatani Looks situation in hyderabad is bad with testing but want your insight where are the patients getting admitted if they are falling sick and were are the dead getting buried or cremated . You and me live here we know how strictly the initial lockdown was implement they even stopped swiggy and zomato and compare that to the sham so called lockdown done in mumbai and also in delhi . Delhi and TN both are impacted highly by TBJ spreaders . TN had more than 1500 TBJ attendees also they had continued their Caa protest even after the virus outbreak was declared .

Entire state of gujarat has low virus spread but inside the walled city of ahmedbad its cluster fuck why it didn't spread same like that to entire state ? because we know who danced in streets when rest were locked themselves inside in lockdown .

It's very difficult to get testing done in Hyderabad officially ,though some hospitals and labs are doing it unofficially ,so the exact number of positive cases will never be divulged. No Pvt lab or hospital is authorized to do Covid testing ,all samples have to be sent to Government hospitals who are refusing to do more than a certain numbers of tests.
We don't have any explanation for this peculiar behaviour of government.
Symptomatic patients are being admitted in a number of hospitals but getting a bed is becoming very difficult . Government hospitals are overburdened as usual. Healthcare workers are resigning from Pvt hospitals for fear of contacting Covid. Situation is bad. Contact tracing is no more possible. Community spread is a reality.

But there is a silver lining . Most of the pts are becoming Covid free without any residual deficit or deformity . The disease is very mild in maximum ppl. Few of our staff tested positive and all of them became asymptomatic within 4 days after treatment which is only supportive.
All said ,it's highly contagious so don't let your guards down. Mask ,social distancing and hand sanitation are our biggest weapons. Use them as much as possible.
Take care guys.
