A 2006 opinion poll by Outlook—AC Nielsen shows that 46 % of India's urban class wants to settle down in US. Interestingly, in the Hindutva heart land of Gujarat, 54 % of people want to move to US.

While I am sure there are some I dont know of any one in the USA wanting to move to India.

While US is/will be a great country in its own respect, still I miss my land and more importantly the kith and kin.

I can live as a law abiding citizen here for some time, but I am not sure if I can completely 'assimilate' into the American way of life. And if you cant assimilate, then you never get over your own land.

Seriously though when one moves cities within ones own country itself is a major adjustment. Moving countries especially vastly different culturally is a major major shift. Most never manage to adjust but put up with it because of $$$.
