The following are vessels that have served in the Pakistani Navy at one point:
PNS Babur - former HMS Amazon; commissioned into PN in 1993. Recently was humiliated by Indian Navy.
PNS Jahangir - former HMS Diadem; commissioned into PN in 1957 and converted to training vessel in 1961.
PNS Shah Jahan - former HMS Active; commissioned into PN in 1994 and currently in active service.
PNS Alamgir - former USS McInerney; commissioned into PN in 2010.
As you can see, the Pakistan Navy has a theme of naming of their vessels after former Mughal emperors. Pakistan even named its cruise missiles after Babur.
By why hasn't Pakistan named any of its weapons after the most illustrious and greatest of all Mughal rulers, Emperor Akbar?
