You are the last remaining descendants of a people whose ways have not changed. It goes few centuries before gandhi and this cowardness at the moment has nothing to do with gandhi or govt....if someone is attacking your community and temples and all hindus do in that area is tweet then its on them....sorry looks like all those donations going towards grand cultural centers besides those temples are not enhancing the virility. Lot of young gen overseas(domestic too) bred mentally impotent quote "you only live once, lets do drugs, smoke pot and drink and go to pubs and have sex like side street whores" but protecting family, community and temples is not part of that "live only once" routine.

US is no different, having guns or artillary canons is not going to cure mental impotency. Sorry I am old school....I have lived through many riots as part of growing up and young ones took turns to do rounds, patrolling and protecting women and children with sticks, stones, rods and whatever was available. This is no different....seems like they rather bend forward and backward than showing some backbone or character.

I was going to wait to see the action by the British police take place before commenting on it but generally, the British do things differently. They don't involve themselves in direct confrontation if there is no risk to life involved but then use cctv footage to identify and prosecute the perpetrators.

Which is the most braindead policy I can think of. The police can't "unburgle" you after your house is robbed, nor can they "unvandalize" your shops after they have been vandalized or "unassault" you after you've been assaulted. They are supposed to PREVENT crime, not REACT to the crime after it's already happened.

When Robert Peel formed the police in England, it was with one purpose and one purpose only. They were supposed to patrol, on foot, the streets of Britain and provide a visible presence on the streets and the communities, not turn up after the crime has been committed.

Today, the UK police appear helpless in the face of soaring crime. They seldom investigate "minor offenses" such as burglary, car crime and theft. Drug gangs operate with impunity. There is an epidemic of knife crime. In response to all this, the police have taken to dancing the Macarena on TikTok and painting their cars with rainbows.

Using a variety of methods, they have also made it increasingly difficult for the public to report crime. Their current enthusiasm for harassing people who express unpopular opinions is cynical and politically motivated. Like the National Health Service and the BBC, they are rapidly losing public support.

Hindus are focused on finances very few worry about security (in USA). One of my neighbors years ago heard a burglar breaking thru the backyard door he opened his bedroom window and shot him dead on the porch. Sometimes I wonder what a indian would have done In that situation??

Robbery is is not a planned mass attack targeting randomly and methodically a particular community out of hate, if people know that others are going to attack them to loot I am sure that community will take measures like what we saw from Indians in South Africa recently. It is the "don't care" attitude to defend against attacks on religion and temples and so on that gives a pass to converteds....these pseudo hindus brought it upon themselves with their self denigration of hinduism and India and other customs both inside and outside India.
