Good point. Socialism and shared property makes sense where you have a huge population and scarce resources. America is still abundant in natural resources and land and there is no need for socialism. Implementing socialism here, which although well intentioned, has created a section of people who like to live as bums, living off food stamps and somehow managing to survive. Now don't get me started on the housing bubble debacle.
Yes, the country will go down the drain if Obamanomics keeps stretching the rubber. I like his idea of building high speed trains and cash-for-clunkers deals; but eventually, this country needs to (1) reduce overuse of personal vehicles (2) cut down on the welfare system so that people have the urge to get up and work. This is, of course, my personal opinion.
