Even as the tensions between India and Pakistan escalate over the recent killing of five Indian soldiers by the Pakistani Army along the Line of Control (LoC), in a defiant act, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed on Friday morning led the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in La Whore.
According to Wall Street Journal, the Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief was slated to address a huge gathering at the Gaddafi Stadium in La Whore. The event was advertised on several posters across the Pakistani city.
This assumes significance as Saeed is believed to be the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. He is one of the most wanted terrorists by India.
