once the cash flow restarts from tourism, most of the economy will recover. but the debt and it's implications will stay for a long time. this is ofcourse rajapaksa and family don't do something stupid again.

Sri lanka should be annexed.There is no point in being goody two shoes. Look at goa annexation it did a world of good for us. This will curb separatist thoughts of peacefulls down south as they can be crushed from both sides if need be.

1. U control 1/3 of world sea route, everyone will fear India and toe us as their ships need to pass near us before going to Malacca straits.

I know Lanka is nothing just like most of our other neighbors.

Do you guys really think people of any country will willingly join a bigger & stronger country.
Just because they are in economic crises. Lol.

Or do you think people who can't even have electricity, fuel or gas connection in their cities will cite HDI index before making decisions.

We have to make them be a part of India.
Utilising this desperate situation to get deals that will give us sweeping control over their strategic asset. Giving us military access to most of their bases & surveillance systems. Get control over their ports which is the economic nerve centre of Sri Lanka. And turn them into an Indian Protectorate.

Much like what US is for Puerto Rico.

Indian economy will definitely grow to 10 trillion in 8 years & 20 trillion in 2 decades but these opportunities will never come.
