We missed this gues I really was having shitty day yesterday
Few points

> 8,000 Rifles to be delivered in next 2 weeks

> 27,000 Rifles handed over to Forces

> 10,000 Rifles handed over to units

> 17,000 Rifles being inspected rn and will be handed over to Army soon

> Indegenious content has been achieved at 25% rn

> End Goal is to reach 100% indegenious content and full scale production in next 2 years

We have to wait and watch for the quality of barrels and other metal parts.The quality of metallurgy in other indian products like Insas Ghatak are pathetic

This is T&T 545v1 Carbine by Trinity Arms with Geissele Automatics handguard.
There are quite few russian rifles mostly for competition purpose which are not that known outside Russia.Also Russians tend to unveil many rifles which barely gets pass prototype phase or only handful of them are made before discontinued from production.eg:RPK-16.

Yeah, during the early 90s when they were tinkering with the idea of replacing of Ak-74 there were tons of innovative rifles, and I could only remember the An-94 and AEK-971 from project Akaban.
