Israel has a very good military and an assured economy as it is essentially USA's 51st state.
Israel is an exception in ways more than one, so I just subconsciously presume it's not in the M.E. :p
Let's wait out. Turkey has the worst view overall of USA when compared to any other nation which is weird, and incomprehensible to me.
They didn't let US use their bases during the Iraq war and all. The only reason I see Turkey having such unfavorable views of US is it's support for YPG, YPG recently but that survey was well before USA was fully invested in them.

Any other reason?

I'm short sighted in historical context here.

Pantsir-S and Buk-SAM of different classes and have different purposes. Pantsir-S is an advanced Tunguska. However, after the collapse of the USSR, many scientists left and they are collected by those whose hands grow out of the ass.

As far as I know Ankara did not formally explain why it refused US use of its territory in the 2003 Iraq invasion other than the lack of UN authorization, which is silly since Turkey certainly does not care about such niceties, just look at Syria. But I think it has something to do with the Kurds. More than anything else, the prospect of a Kurdistan state occupies the top of its strategic concern. That concern apparently is heavier than the weight it accords to its alliance with the US and NATO.

Erdogan has been milking the Kurdistan issue to his domestic audience to solidify his stay in power. So far he's been successful. But he's just another ME despot. He'll use whatever issue to stay in power.

The Syrian Air Force is retarded. Their Mig-29s are just for show, Syrians could have easily send them to escort SU-24s and possibly even ambushed some Turkish F-16 by mimicking SU-24 flight patterns.

If the Migs engaged and fired at F-16 the Turks would think twice before approaching the border. If any F-16 would be downed then it wouldn’t be even better.

Not sure why the Syrians don’t demolish those Turkish “outpost” under Syrian army control. They are hostile forces killing Syrian soldiers and the Syrians do nothing. If the Turkish army ever encountered any Syrian outpost they would not think twice about attacking and killing everyone inside. Turks have tortured and executed Syrian soldiers, fired on Russian aircraft and support terrorists, they should get no special treatment. Destroy one outpost at a time, if Turkey continues the offensive, destroy another...and another after that. Eventually the Turks will have to either pull out or go full retard and lose hundreds of soldiers.

Do you know which air to air missiles they are using with their Mig-29 with they are armed with R-77(80)Km variant then they will be at disadvantage against 120-c.

It does not matter, they would just have to set an ambush. Almost every successful shoot down involves ambushes. Many aircraft have used short range or medium range missiles to shoot down aircraft with longer range missiles. Syrian can launch several Mig-29s to mimic SU-24 behavior, then launch several more low flying Mig-29s that would go undetected by radar. If they were even more bullish they would launch several Mig-29s from the Kememi air base to mimic Russian aircraft, which would loiter at high altitudes where the missile would have more range.

Once the F-16 would think it’s about to ambush a Syrian SU-24 it would instead become the prey. Multiple R-77s from multiple directions would be different to evade but this is wishful thinking. The Syrians are mostly incompetent and think one dimensionally.

Easier said than done mate. We can all make speculations and do this and that. They are the ones dealing and they know the best what conditions their defensive or aggressive assets are in. Simply put Unless Russia steps in and get involved, Syrian air assets won't be active for long, its way too outdated.

This is the only time perhaps that I will side with Putin and Assad in my life, but I hope they bloody the Turkish military enough that they and the vast majority of Turkish civilians will kick Sultan Erdogan out of power!
Erdogan is doing the right thing for once. Turkey cannot allow another wave of Syrian refugees on its soil. He is the first one to have the guts to call Russia’s bluff.

You are just crazy if you think Turkey is going to let unpunished an attack against one of its outposts. All hell will break loose, we are talking about the biggest Nato land army there. That is why Russian military has been so discreet for a couple of days. Erdogan has called Russia’s bluff. First time someone has the guts to do it in Syria.

Another illustration of the impunity of turkish drones over Idlib. I don’t think they are destroying the convey, but it surely hurts.

Believe me, hundreds of fake news have been posted there by Assad/ Putin fan boys. They did such a good job flooding the thread with their BS that almost everyone including me stopped checking it.
