It is believed Meghanad after his victory over Indra, goes to conquer other worlds. So he reaches Naaglok. Fights with Vasuki who was the king of Nagas and defeats him. So Vasuki curses Meghanad that vasuki’s elder brother Sheshnaag ( who is know the strongest Naga and bed of lord Vishnu) will kill him. So to counter act the curse he marries Sheshnaag’s daugther Sulochana thinking Sheshnaag will not kill his son in law. But Sheshnaag reincarnated as Lakshman and killed him.In the Indian epic Ramayana, the mythological island Lanka is been often identified with Sro Lanka. The inhabitants of Lanka were mentioned as non-humans, mainly referring to the Rakshasas and Yakshas, but also mentioning the Nagas. Indrajit, the son of Ravana was married to Sulochana, a Naga princess.
It already been discussed if you see the previous pages.Should we be also discussing the various version of the Ramayan?
Valmiki's Ramayan? Tulsidas Ramayan? Agastya's Ramayan?
They all have varying context / Connotations while the base story remains the same.
even in the Vishnu and Agni Purana's ?
