It's all about their army which is funded by US and China to balance India.
People may have some fear, but this does not demoralize their army which is ready to fight a war. And in Lahore people are busy for moharram. They already have hit us in Uri covertly.

BEIJING, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) — China and India on Tuesday held their first dialogue on counterterrorism and security.

The two sides exchanged opinions on the international and regional security situation and their respective anti-terrorism systems, mechanisms and legislation.

They also reached consensus on measures to strengthen cooperation and to jointly deal with security threats, according to a document issued after the meeting.

The dialogue was jointly chaired by Wang Yongqing, secretary-general of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and R.N. Ravi, chairman of Joint Intelligence Committee of India.

In his talks with Ravi, Meng Jianzhu, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, commended stable progress in Sino-Indian ties.

He said terrorism is a common enemy of the global community, adding that strengthened counterterrorism cooperation between China and India was conducive to the interests of the people of both countries.

He voiced hope that the two sides could put to action counterterrorism collaboration and protect regional security and that of the two countries.

Ravi, for his part, said India was willing to step up communication and cooperation with China in the field of counterterrorism, so that the two sides could work together via unity and solidarity.

If this was three years back, I would have expected a military retaliation and upset if not done.

But now for the first time there is talk of a multi-pronged strategy on diplomatic, economic, ecological and military fronts . I would like to see where this goes.

Even retired generals on TV debates who said for first two days that military is being held back, are now saying that multi-pronged strategy is better than a reactive retaliation.

Hope you have not forgotten that we did do a month long massive retaliation towards the end of 2014, but that has not changed many things from paki side.

Like everyone and like very other Indian Goverment the current GoI too took the risk of "friendship" with pakistan knowing very well how it will play out.
Establishments is under obligation to "practice" certain things even if we don't like it.

The pro pak lobby in India who bats for pak terrorists is effectively silenced with the "rationale" put in place. Funny that no voice in India is questioning the award vapsi brigade/left brigade and JNU assholes for the death of our soldiers.

Now GoI ise doing what any responsible nation will do to ensure that our soldiers are safe on all counts.

I will only consider them successful if they succeed breaking the moral of Pakistan Army. Otherwise any action would be termed as failure for future. Any Indian plan will have a counter by pakistan. And Pakistan is a nuclear state. Till now they have succeeded in manipulating the war through nuclear threat.

NOW the current GoI doesnt want such a rhetoric to PLAY OUT AGAIN. Indian army will bash pakistan and make pakistan void if it has a nuke or NOT.
TNW of pakistan will make it very easy for India to take down pakistan.
If TNW is played out even at a deterrent level by pakistan then china wont even want pakistan as pakistan is useless after.
