It is really funny how you really believe those kind of indices and reports released by some foreign agencies who doesn't know what the ground reality is. Do you know the population of India ? Have you been to India and looked at villages, their lifestyle ? Just few pictures from some scrappy websites does not portray the whole picture of India. How could GDP increase in a country like India where the distribution of goods and services is uneven reduce poverty? Your GDP cannot narrows the disparity between national wealth and personal poverty. India was behind Pakistan and Bangladesh,Nepal in global hunger index just before 2015 and even now margin is very small 57 vs 55 and margin between human development index is also small so once Pakistan become stable for investment and economic progress after sorting out this terrorism within Pakistan then it will leave India behind easily just like in past
some harsh reality check
The population who are above poverty line in India are four times the population of Pakistan. Do you know that? As a developing nation with huge population it will take time for us to empower our poor and reduce the number of BPL jantas. I won't say we have done a great job but a good one.
Look at your country, your population is lesser than the Muslim population of India and still a good number of your compatriots are eating grass, soaking in poverty, bathing illiteracy and boiling with terrorism. You still didn't narrow the gap. With a land area rich with natural resources you do not know how to live and you come here and comment about our development. What a joke !
