Don't want to disrespect soldiers
I don't care if you disrespect or respect; please keep thread on topic.
history of screw ups like op Gibraltar
SSG saw very limited action in Operation Gibraltar. Gibraltar Forces were a 5 company force made up of mostly irregular locals (Kashmiris). Small SSG squads would be sent here and there for fast operations such as destroying bridges and harassing enemy logistics; they were pretty successful.
61 war they are hammered by parras,
Never knew we had a 1961 war; the last incident before 1965 was in 1959 when 2 Indian pilots were captured when their aircraft was shot down by 2 Pakistani interceptors.
in 71 war again 6 man parra team butchered 400+ momins inside enemy lines
Yes yes, and 3 man parra team killed 100000 momins in a rescue operation once.
kargil we all know we even have to Burry your mujahids(NLI +Baluch regmt +SSG)
SSG were barely deployed into Kargil; at that time - most were deployed at the Afghan border; fearing a sudden incursion.
Anyway; i'm proud that a small force of irregulars managed to do much more damage than inflicted. The Pakistan Army was so impressed by the NLI that they were inducted into the regular forces.
Battle of Hill 3234 where Russian spetsnaz made chema
SSG was involved in hill 3234 but not in a combative role; they played the same role as CIA officers did in Afghanistan. It was the Mujahideen who did the work; SSG only directed, coordinated and advised them.

Anyway bro, lets not derail this thread any further please. I won't be responding to anything else; if you want to take this to another thread - then sure.
