As of now it is using TRDD-50MT.

BTW, did anyone seen the news yesterday in NIE? Snippet of the same.

In morning news nation reported that K4 missile was tested today from INS Arihant. Can someone confirm this. It seems that both Nirbhay and K4 were tested of K4 missile was tested from Arihant Submarine.

Yeah could be possible, earlier also K15 and K4 are tested with other missiles. Already 12 or more underwater ejection tests were carried out of Arihant.

So we have already mastered that tech. Now K4 needed to be tested.

Infact tech was mastered so successfully that it was used for A5 to come out of canister.

भारत ने स्वदेशी क्रूज मिसाइल 'निर्भय' का सफल टेस्ट किया है। परमाणु हथियार ले जाने में सक्षम इस मिसाइल की मारक क्षमता 1000 किलोमीटर तक है दुश्मन की नजरों से बचकर वार करने वाली इस मिसाइल की तुलना सटीक निशाने के लिए मशहूर अमेरिकी टोमाहॉक मिसाइल से की जा रही है।
पिछले तीन साल में निर्भय मिसाइल सिस्टम के तीन टेस्ट किए गए हैं। इनमें दो नाकाम रहे जबकि तीसरे टेस्ट को आंशिक तौर पर सफल माना गया। बुधवार को उड़ीसा के वीलर आइलैंड से चौथी बार इसका टेस्ट किया गया।
इस मिसाइल के सिस्टम का विकास रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संस्थान DRDO के अडवांस्ड सिस्टम लैबरेटरी ने किया है। 2010 में मंजूर इस प्रॉजेक्ट को तीन साल में पूरा होना था लेकिन भारत को अपने संसाधनों पर निर्भर रहकर इसका विकास करना पड़ा। एक बार यह माना जाने लगा कि भारत-रूस के सहयोग से विकसित ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल से ही काम चलाना होगा जिसकी रेंज 290 किलोमीटर है

भारत को मिसाइल टेक्नॉलजी पर कंट्रोल करनेवाली इंटरनैशनल रिजीम MTCR की जून में मेंबरशिप मिलने के बाद हुए चौथे टेस्ट को अहम माना जा रहा है। अब इस सबसोनिक मिसाइल को सुपरसोनिक मिसाइल ब्रह्मोस के पूरक के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है। अभी इस मिसाइल की दो और उड़ानों को परखा जाएगा।

India successfully test-fires nuclear-capable cruise missile Nirbhay

India today successfully test-fired its potent nuclear-capable long range cruise missile 'Nirbhay' from the Integrated Missile Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha today.
The state-of-the-art missile developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation was test fired successfully from the launch complex 3 of the ITR at 11:56 hours.

Nirbhay is very manoeuverable and can fly at tree-top level, making it difficult to detect on radar, and strikes targets more than 700 km away carrying nuclear warheads, giving India the capability to strike deep into enemy territory.
