I do suppose it is appropriate thread. Anyone insulting Indian Army should be grilled. Here on this thread we are discussing how Indian Army is giving befitting replies to Pak army a first in last 40 years and how these Congress men and dynastic people abuse army chief. They don't have any rights to question his moves and abuse him. They have their royalties across the border, this is what to be discussed.

This thread is specifically about LoC/ LAC warfare, military Infrastructure and tactics etc

Or you can make a new thread to have a discussion over it. We already have "Indian army news" thread for it.

As explained by hammerhead situation across the border/loc is quite interesting.
So it seems the pigs are going to assemble at LOC.
What happens if with the formal pigs assembled at loc they also try pushing in the informal pigs.
I feel we also should give indicators that we are ready to open other fronts on IB at Punjab, Rajasthan etc.

@ other fellow DFI members: These are interesting times, let's stick to the topic at hand and not derail this thread by posting political and other off related posts.

The Arty units and formations are loaded with a target book with all important enemy target Grid References.
And yes along with Sat images too, after any Arty duet exchange POST DAMAGE ASSESSMENT REPORT is made using the Sat images and live feed from UAVs.
That's exactly what I meant bro. Sat images are not required by the Infantry units deployed on the LoC. It is the Artillery units that require real time info through sat imagery and video to target shifting launch pads/training camps.

Remember, the CARTOSAT 2C can video-graph in real time for three minutes every 90 minutes. That is enough time for directing accurate artillery fire by bracketing on targets. UAVs can also provide real time info to 'remote' OPs for target iden and acquisition and directing accurate artillery fire from predesignated gun positions.

This procedure of using real-time video from CARTOSAT 2C for directing accurate arty fire on Pak positions in depth, and not visible to OPs was used during the surgical strikes.

The Infantry units deployed on the LoC do not require sat imagery, but must be used by the artillery and for spec ops.

9 Paki posts destroyed in KG sector. Paki army totally silenced. Good job IA.
I wish we could get hold of some videos of the destruction of Paki posts. It should be put out in the media too.

Needless to say, to counter this, the Porks will produced some silly fake videos taken at their field firing ranges at Naushera or Jhelum as propaganda to try and raise the withering morale of the pussy Islamic Army of Porkistan which is getting a pasting on the LoC.

If we chose to specifically target infrastructure such as important roads Pak army will have hard time moving their units and their deployment at important posts will be untenable and ultimately they have to vacate the posts.

PoK already has shit poor infrastructure and it can be easily target even by Mortars. We can cut off Neelam valley as and when we want.
And that highway built by china in POK had 4-5 bridges,if you take out them then everything will become stand still.

Point to note:

Official sources told the Excelsior that heavy mortar shelling and firing by Pakistan army on the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts, which began late last night and continued till this afternoon, was a clear indication that troops across the LoC were instructed to keep pot boiling on the LoC. However, they said, the Indian troops, who were anticipating misadventures by Pakistan following the visit of Bajwa to the LoC, retaliated Pakistan shelling and firing very effectively.

One interesting thing which I've noticed lately, this time around whole thing has turned upside down. There were news of Pakistan violating ceasefire, but nothing like summoning Pak High Commissioner. It seems role has been reversed this time and its Indian HC who gets summoned for every slap on paki face.
