It is true. See SSG is a professional force and they mean bussiness. Whenever thier is a ambush followed by beheading you can take it that ur drill were faultered at some stage. Its a game of wits and alertness. But despite SSGs professiomal calibre thier history has not been very rich during ops.

One question.. You shared a video of a helicopter carrying Para SF and SG. So is it safe to imagine that SG played a part into this operation?

Probably a different area. That video has a lot of snow and if it was filmed recently, it has to be a high altitude post. The present ops were conducted across Uri in Chakothi. No snow there in this season as far as I can tell.

From a very good source. This source is as good as @hammer head. This news is not in public domain and is confidential. IA is capturing advantageous posts, which are at higher places pushing loc into POK.

But no such news news in Media or by the Army.

10 days back similar incident but the troop was injured.

I think the less we know about SG and their Ops, the better.

They are like ghosts, who flit in and out of danger, keeping us safe and enemies shivering in fear. Anonymity is when they work best.

It's from a moderator of another Indian defense forum who seems to be serving/served or connected to the Indian Army somehow. Anyhow, his post mentioned that the captured post was vacated. Don't know how credible he is, but his earlier information has been on point.

so the 6 troops that got injured Hammer Head mentioned were traveling in a bus and the post that got destroyed housed 4 SSG and 1 JCO. Hmmmm.
