Integrated Air Drop tests will start from Feb 2023, & 1st unmanned launch in Dec 2023, Environmental Control & Life Support System will be indigenous...this is probably the main reason behind the delay of Gaganyaan...

May be they shown it as a representative image ....but from the presentation of Dr.Somanath, NSLV is derivative of Rohini sounding rocket, which is solid fuelled
WTH is nano....sats I presume but naming convention could be better?

NSLV is a just a sounding rocket with orbital launch capability just like Japanese S rocket series.

Barely 5kg capacity to LEO qualifies it as "nano satellite launcher".

It will be used by institutions for student sats.

We have a thread for Quantum computing in India for general but not for ISRO' QKD program and upcoming quantum satellites.

Create one if we have enough data?

didn't they already use this engine on lmv-3 before, what is the importance of testing it again? @Indx TechStyle
All components of a launch vehicle/spacecraft go under trials before a launch. Testing becomes more extensive over complexity of mission.

This is not a automotive factory for just mass production. Billions of ruppees are at stake on every launch.

so , the whole engine is also run for the whole burn time once before the actual launch? can or does that ever damage the engine for the actual launch.

ISRO said, The major objectives of the flight acceptance test were to confirm the integrity of the hardware, assessment of subsystems' performance and tune the engine for meeting the mission requirements parameters for engine tuning for flight operation. Analysis of test data confirmed the satisfactory performance of the engine systems. This engine will be assembled to the C25 flight stage being integrated for the LVM3 M3 vehicle.
