I'm guessing it is the latest Mi-28NM version which has upgraded radar and armament.
Looks like the detente between Russia and Israel has fallen through. It means Israel will now supply weapons to Ukraine and arm everyone that is currently against Russia. The murky lines have been erased.I'm guessing it is the latest Mi-28NM version which has upgraded radar and armament.
And you can blame Israelis for that. They keep poking Russia's eyes every time they launch an attack on Syria when Russia is pretty much Syria's security guarantor. That's the choice Israel made.Looks like the detente between Russia and Israel has fallen through. Meh. Iran can supply far more weapons than Israel can supply to Ukraine. Iran is way bigger than Israel. If Iran supplies weapons to Russia, then so will Syria. Syria is basically Iran's lackey these days.Looks like the detente between Russia and Israel has fallen through. Agreed. Turkey has already fallen out of favor with Israel. If Israel supply weapons to Ukraine then Turkey supply weapons to Russia. And you can blame Israelis for that. Now Israel has to bank on US preventing more advanced military supplies to Syria. To fully counter US and Israel, Russia needs to fully convert Iraq into a Russian ally. With Iraq and Iran as Russian allies, Russia could form a strong anti-western bloc in the Middle East region. If Turkey were to play spoilsport at the bequest of Russia, US and the western world including Israel would be at a serious disadvantage. And if China joins Russia and Iran in that bloc by using the Chinese navy to check USN presence in the Persian Gulf, US would be very constrained.
Just my 2 cents musing.
Yes in quantity but not quality. Israel is far above Iran in terms of quality. Look, Israel has been able to attack Iran remotely using its awesome cyber attack capabilities. It set off refineries on fire, destroyed factories, and wrecked Iran's centrifugal factories.Meh. Iran can supply far more weapons than Israel can supply to Ukraine. Iran is way bigger than Israel. Not really. Israel doesn't really have local production. Everything Israel has is from the US which runs on a lot of debt.Yes in quantity but not quality. Sorry but that statement completely smacks of ignorance in abundance. Not really. Israel doesn't really have local production. Everything Israel has is from the US which runs on a lot of debt.
Israel is very small. Only 22,000 sq km. It doesn't have much natural resources. Weapons production requires a lot of natural resources. Even during WW2 Germany had to import iron ore from ally Spain.Sorry but that statement completely smacks of ignorance in abundance.
If you think that the Israelis were operating without Russian tacit approval, you are dreaming. The Russian S-400s were under Russian command and turned off. They simply looked the other way while Israelis pounded their threats inside a war-torn Syria that had no leverage to negotiate with either side. And you can blame Israelis for that. Turkey will do no such thing as a NATO member. It may occasionally play spoilsport to get some concessions from the US but it will never take one side completely only to be risking an end to the Bosphorus Treaty. Turks have an advantage playing all sides against each other for now and they would want to milk that till the time they can so that tomorrow when the Americans abandon them completely, they can flip the bird and hold on their own.Agreed. Turkey has already fallen out of favour with Israel. If Israel supplies weapons to Ukraine then Turkey supplies weapons to Russia.
Not really. Israel has the backing of the endless funding of the US. All the US treasury has to do is print more $ and ship it to Israel while Israeli factories churn weapons out for Ukraine. Iran meanwhile has to fund out of its own coffers of earned income and cannot just wildly print Riyals to finance the wars.Meh. Iran can supply far more weapons than Israel can supply to Ukraine. Do you think russia fears what israelis can do?? I highly doubt it.If you think that the Israelis were operating without Russian tacit approval, you are dreaming. Israel and Russia have always had a complex working relationship but it has endured until now. The Israelis only made the mistake of openly siding with Ukraine and blustering emotionally to promise to arm Ukraine.
Iranians armed with Su-35 can easily strike deep around Israel. The Americans might get involved but to what extent, it is unknown.

It is not fear. A country with the size, mentality and resources of Russia won't fear anyone, not even the US. It is just the concern of added nuisance to the already challenging situation in Ukraine. Russia has successfully drained the weapon stocks of NATO countries to unacceptable levels, but with each country that they see join the other side, the side gets replenished.Do you think russia fears what israelis can do?? I highly doubt it.
much of israeli's image of invincibility is gone ?
Israel has been spoiled. It's about time Israel gets a taste of reality and see what a small country it is. Russia is putting Israel in its place. It is not fear. Remember, the US is no longer concerned about exporting inflation to the world and will keep printing and funding weapons to its wars until other countries throw off the $ and force the US to bring down the curtain on endless printing. It will print more $ to fund the factories in Israel to pump weapons for Ukraine since it is not their stocks getting depleted.
Russians arming Iran with weapons that can put Israel's safety in jeopardy will ensure that Israel becomes an additional nuisance for Moscow in the coming days.
